About Us

Laymond Tackett is the founder and owner of CrossRoads Paving, with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience began at a young age in East Tennessee where he learned how to log trees, mine coal, work with heavy equipment, concrete, and asphalt. Throughout his 40 years of experience he has formed a strong work ethic which ensures that every job is completed correctly the first time. In Laymond's spare time he enjoys working with the community and is a strong advocate for wild life preservation. 

Cory Tackett has worked with CrossRoads Paving for over 15 years; along with daily activities his additional roles include sales, marketing, and operation management. He currently holds a BA from the University of Western Kentucky and is a active member in the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce. In Cory’s spare time he enjoys spending time as a newly wed and two year old puppy Knox, which is a rescued lab. He also, enjoys golfing, hiking, ATV riding, and camping with friends and family. In addition to being family owned and founded CrossRoads also takes extra initiatives to ensure the utmost quality of workmanship. For example, the entire crew attends the Annual National Paving Expo to learn about new products, trends, and safety procedures. We are also licensed and bonded throughout Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas.
